Happy Birthday Todd!

Today is Todd's Birthday. His dad commented that he is a quarter of a century old! That's hard to believe, but it is true! We are so proud of both of our sons, Todd and Bryan. Each one has taken amazing career paths. Todd is in the Air Force stationed in Texas. We will get to see him soon though! Todd loves his little nephews, Ty and Carter. His little 3 year old nephew, Ty, sang Happy Birthday to him today. We got to hear it via email. I know this was a blessing to Todd. We miss and love Todd very much. We're hoping he enjoys his 25th Birthday!

A couple years ago, we went to Puerto Rico. Here are some of the photos we took with my camera.  We really enjoyed the beautiful tropical flowers we found there!  This is just a little diversion from my cards and scrapbooking pages that I usually post.  Hope you enjoy them!

Mom's Birthday Lunch

We had a wonderful time visiting and enjoying our tacos, enchiladas and tostadas with Mom and Dad today. Tomorrow is Mom's birthday.  How thankful we are to have celebrated together.  We reminisced about our 5 years in Three Rivers since Mom is writing about that in her book right now.  We lived there in the late 50's and early 60's.  We have great memories of our time there.  For Mom and Dad it was a lot of work.  For the kids, it was a mixture of work and play!

Happy Birthday, Mom!!  We love you!!

Travel Page Layout

Here's a masculine page layout that could be changed up for a Birthday Celebration, an Outdoors Event, or even a Graduation theme.  You've got your chance to spotlight someone special in a more masculine way with this design and color scheme.  For this 2-page scrapbook layout you will need the following...

Welcome Baby Boy or Baby Girl Card

Notice how you can change up this card for a boy or a girl baby card by just changing the rattle section with either blue or pink.  Everything else about this card is the same.  I like that.  This is a punch art rattle.  The feel is pretty vintage.  I like that too!  Thanks to the Beau Chateau Designer Series Paper, I've been able to create projects for my Mom and Dad's Wedding Anniversary and a baby card.  Now that's versatility!  Here are some more details...
Card Stock:  Very Vanilla, Soft Suede
Ink:  Soft Suede
Punches:  1 3/4" circle,  1 1/4" circle, 3/4" circle, Word Window, Modern Label, Scallop Trim Border
Misc:  pink or blue taffeta ribbon, Big Shot, Top Note Die, Pearls

This was taught at my recent Stamp Club and Downline Meeting.  (The pearls were an afterthought!)
