Stamp Club #1 8 31 11

Here's the second project for Stamp Club this week.  The stamp set is called Easy Events.  #123225 Clear $24.95 p. 57 in the Stampin' Up Idea Book and Catalog.  What's nice about this set is that all the stamps are about the same size. It's a set that's good for so many occasions.  Check it out!  I think you will like this versatile set!  The colors used here are:  Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla.

Stamp Club #1 August 31st Meeting

Here's a sneak peek at what we will be doing at our monthly Stamp Club this Wednesday.  The colors used are as follows:  Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, and Pink Pirouette.  The Designer Series Paper used is from the Beau Chateau Pack.  #122357  ($10.95)  The brad in the center of the flower is  from the Basics Glimmer Brads Collection #121003 $4.95  The punches used were:  Scallop Circles:  2 3/8" #118874, 1 3/4" #119854, Boho Blossom #119858, and Blossom Petals Builder #121808.  This card was inspired by a card made by my friend, Gloria Hall.

Rubber Stamping Class 8 29 11

These are the cards we will be making in my Rubber Stamping Class on Monday.  The first one was inspired by a swap I received at Convention 2011 by Vikki Beck of Sarasota, FL.  The second one is inspired by a card made by Julie Di Matteo.  Thanks to both of these talented stampers for their inspiration!

Scrapbooking Class 8 25 11

We will be doing this page layout this week in my Thursday night Scrapbooking Class.  The title is FAMILY, Priceless!  We are using some of the yummy papers in the Stampin' Up Sprice Cake Product Suite of the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog.  The colors include:  Soft Suede, More Mustard, Pool Party, Pear Pizzazz, River Rock, and Very Vanilla.  These new and unexpected colors conjure up thoughts of a cool autumn day.  We are looking forward to cooler days!  I'm sure they will be here before we know it! 



Rubber Stamping Class 8 22 11

These are the cards that I will be teaching this week.  The hanging basket is inspired by Vera Milne of Beaumont, TX.  We swapped at Convention.  The gals in my group at Convention loved this card!  The second card with the Seaside feel to it was inspired by Sherry Jo Painter-Torres.  We swapped at Convention 2011 as well.  I love the clean and simple look of this card.  It makes me want to go to the Coast.

Our 36th Wedding Anniversary

Davd and I celebrated our 36th Wedding Anniversary yesterday. We both feel blessed. We had a wonderful dinner at Tahoe Joe's and a movie. Dave gave me these beautiful flowers. I absolutely love receiving flowers. We had so many flowers, I had to make two arrangements. That's a nice problem! I always take pictures of the flowers so that I can enjoy them for a long time.

Gone Fishin' Scrapbook Page

Here's the page layout that we did last week in my scrapbooking class. The ladies made some changes to the title and called it "Gone Campin' or "Fish Farm". Some stamped and cut out more fish. We used the largest star for a journaling opportunity! The coin envelope was added for memorabilia. The fish hook was a fun accent.

Our grandson's 3rd Birthday Party

We had a wonderful time celebrating Ty's 3rd birthday last Friday. The park had everything you could want. The kids enjoyed the sprinkler park, the teeter totter, slides and all! We are so blessed to be grandparents to Ty and Carter. Looking forward to #3 (a boy) in December! It melted our hearts when Ty thanked everyone for coming to his birthday party!

Friends at Convention 2011

We really enjoyed the Stampin' Up Convention this year. I got my first Prize Patrol! Whoo Hoo! We had great classes, General Sessions, Stamp Camps, Organized Swaps, and free stamps from Stampin' Up!! We loved all the demonstrations and displays. Here are a few photos of the displays.
