These are the projects for next Monday's Stamp with Karen Classes.  They fall into the categories of dimensional cards and cards that move.

Project #1:  Christmas Tree Card
Card Stock:  Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso
DSP:  graduated sizes of various green designer series paper 3", 2 1/2", 2", 1 1/2" squares
Big Shot:  Embossing Folder of your choice, Labels Collection Framelits
Ink:  Soft Suede
Folding Process: 

• Fold in half (Hot Dog Fold)
• Open the square back up
• Turn the opposite direction and fold in half again (Hot Dog)
• Open square up again and fold opposite corner to opposite corner (Taco Fold)
• Open square again and turn paper and fold opposite corner to corner (Taco Fold)
• Fold paper in half again (hot dog) with the print on the outside and push in the sides to create a triangle like a pyramid.
• Final step:  Take the top corner layer and fold to the center seam of your triangle.  Repeat on the other side.

Project #2:  Flip Card Christmas
Card Stock:  Real Red Coredinations, Basic Black, Whisper White
DSP:  any with Real Red
Stamp Set:  Christmas Messages
Ink:  Craft White, white embossing powder
Tools:  Heat Tool, tray, embossing buddy, Sanding System
Big Shot:  Circle Card Thinlit Die 133480, Northern Flurry Embossing Folder
Punch:  2 1/2" circle

Angel made with Gift Bow Bigz L Die #129977 $32.95

I'm excited to bring you these projects for next week's classes.  The card presents a special technique called, Stained Glass Window Technique.  The ornament is made from the Gift Bow Bigz L Die (found in the Holiday mini catalog).  It is also using some of the Gold Foil Sheets found in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I was pleasantly surprised that the foil sheets are card stock quality and not flimsy sheets of foil.  It is very shiny and perfect for holiday decor.

Project #1:  Stained Glass Window Technique Card

Card Stock:  Real Red, Brushed Gold, Pear Pizzaz, Window Sheet

Big Shot:  Pretty Print Embossing Folder

Stamp Set:  Joyful Christmas

Ink:  StazOn Jet Black, Real Red, Old Olive

Accessories:  Crystal Effects, STampin' Glitter Dazzling Diamonds, Gold Embossing Powder, Pearl Basic Jewels

Tools:  Heat Tool, tray embossing buddy

 

Project #2:  Angel from Bow Die

Card Stock:  Real Red, Gold Foil Sheet, Very Vanilla

Stamp Set:  Joyful Christmas

Ink:  Real Red

Big Shot:   Gift Bow Bigz L Die

Punches:  1 1/4" circle, 1 3/4" circle, 7/8" scallop circle, Bitty circle

Misc:  10" yarn
