Monday June 27th Stamp with Karen Cards (click here to view my blog)

The first card is timely because of the 4th of July.  It's good for any patriotic event but you could make it a birthday card or general thinking of you card around this time.  This card is stunning at a distance as well as close up.  What else could you do to this card? hmmm... add some rhinestones maybe or some smaller stars...

The pineapple card is so refreshing.  Thanks to Cindy Baughman for her inspiration.

Patriotic Card:
Card Stock:  Night of Navy, Whisper White, Real Red
Stamp Set:  Thoughtful Banners
Ink:  Night of Navy
Punches:  Duet Banner
Big Shot:  Sunburst Thinlit Die, Stars Collection

Here's what some have said about the Sunburst Thinlit Die:

"Oh I wish I had this die set!!"

"This was one of my first dies I purchased! Have used it many times. THIS is a great one! TWO THUMKS UP!"

Pineapple Card:
Card Stock:  Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo (new in-color), Pear Pizzazz
Stamp Set:  Thoughtful Banners, Pineapple, Pop of Paradise
Ink:  Flirty Flamingo

Here's what some have said about this card:

"Beautiful card...thank you for sharing."

"Best pineapple card I have seen! Love the colors."

No Scrapbooking with Karen Class on June 23rd (click here to view my blog)

Here are some pages out of the past.  It's kind of amazing that the camping one is so similar to the camping stamp set in the new catalog and that foxes are popular right now.

Remember to come back on June 30th.

No Stamp with Karen Classes on June 20th (click here to view my blog)

We're going to have a little family reunion.  Dave's dad from Texas is here.  Special family times are here again.  This was taken several years ago.  It's nice we'll get to see Dave's dad so close to Father's Day.

Happy Father's Day!

Baby Shower Card and Gift Card Bag (click here to view my blog)

I have a friend who needed a card and gift bag for a baby shower. Since I am teaching a card and gift bag next week, I thought I would practice by making her a card and coordinating gift bag for a gift card to take to the shower.  She was thrilled as was I!  We don't know if it is a boy or a girl.  So this is what I came up with.

So, hello baby!

Donna Lewis took up the Challenge (click here to view my blog)

Donna Lewis took up the challenge Monday night at my Stamp Class to make a card using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies to make a pumpkin.

Donna created this card to "celebrate pumpkins".  Fall is her favorite time of year and she is known for her "dinner in a pumpkin".  I can say it is delicious because I had the privilege of sampling it in class a few years back.  She shared her dinner in a pumpkin with us for Halloween.  Yum!

Here are the supplies needed for the card:

Card stock:  Soft Suede base, Very Vanilla 4 x 5 1/4 for outer panel plus another for the inside; Pumpkin Pie, Strips of Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede, Very Vanilla for sentiment

Ink:  Old Olive, Soft Suede, Always Artichoke

Stamp Sets:  Thoughtful Banners, Hardwood Background, Botanical Blooms

Accessories:  Swirly Scribbles die; Duet Banner Punch

Thanks, Donna, for taking up the challenge and sharing your original design for this card.

Man's Best Friend Pet Page (click here to view my blog)

Here's the layout for this week.  It's a pet page for your dog.  The title, Man's Best Friend, lends itself to a masculine type page. Perhaps you could use it for a Father's Day page.
