Guest Invitation to Stamp Club 11 7 12

Here's a sneak peek at what we are doing at my Stamp Club this week.  Tomorrow night, members and guests will be making these great cards for the seasons of Thanksgiving and Christmas.  If you would like to come as a guest, please contact me.  The minimum order for this club is $25.00  for members and guests.  We have a Hostess Rotation where Hostesses receive free merchandise.  If you have been considering joining one of my clubs, now is a great time to start.  We have two projects at no charge each time we meet.  We have a great time together.  Hope you will consider joining us!

Guest Project

Here's a great project created by a great friend of mine and fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Donna Lewis.  She gave this to us for Halloween.  Since it is my husband's birthday on Halloween, it is a fun time of year.  My husband has great memories of growing up and celebrating his birthday on Halloween.  Can you imagine having birthday cake and then going Trick or Treating!?!  He's my "Treat" all through the year!

Here's a wonderful object lesson for you from the activity of "Carving the Pumpkin".  My cousin's daughter and husband shared this with the youth in their church.  I love this...

Carving the Pumpkin:

Step 1 - cut the top off and take out the slimy insides -

God initiates and does all the work in removing our sins and redeeming us with Christ's blood on the cross (Romans 5:8, Ephesians 2:8-9)

Step 2 - carve a face or picture in the pumpkin -

God gives us a new heart, a new identity in Christ (Ezekial 36:26, 2 Corinthians 5:17)

Step 3 - put a candle in the jack-o-lantern -

God fills us with His Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14)

In Loving Memory of My Precious Mom

This is one of the hardest things I have ever posted on my blog.  I want you to know that this photo was taken just 11 days before Mom passed away.  She loved her great-grandchildren so much.  We loved giving her every opportunity possible to spend time with them.  You can tell by her expression this was one of the loves of her life!  I am so blessed!  I miss her but we will meet again in heaven!  She left us such a wonderful legacy of faith, love and hope!  She planned the whole Memorial Service.  It was an incredible testimony of her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and her love of the Word of God, the Bible.
