Happy Valentine's Day!


Here's a card I taught for Valentine's Day.

Cardstock: Whisper White Half Sheet of 8 ½ x 11, 3 x 3, 3” strip; Real Red Half Sheet; Basic Black 5 ¼ x 1 ½; Real Red Designer Paper 5 ¼ x 4, 1” strip
Stamp Sets: A Happy Heart
Ink: Real Red
Accessories: dimensionals, glue stick, scallop circle punch, scallop envelope die, heart to heart punch, Big Shot, Acrylic Plate, shims, crease pad, mini glue dots
Techniques: Layout, layering, punching, die cutting with Big Shot, Quilt pattern with designer papers
Steps:
Fold the white panel in half to form the card.
Die cut scallop envelope with red card stock. Use acrylic plate, 2 shims, die foam side up, crease pad. Crease on score lines with bone folder. Adhere front flap to side flaps by placing a mini glue dot in each top corner.
Stamp 3 x 3 white panel.
Stamp 3” strip and punch out with scallop circle punch. Mount with dimensional.
Adhere designer paper strip around the envelope. Attach the punched scallop circle with a dimensional.
Punch hearts.
Assemble card.
Stamp inside of card. Stamp the back, sign and date.
Stamp envelope and liner as desired.
